Synopsis as it was performed in 2019: Silent Forest is a drama set in the town of Forest that follows Josephine's investigation of her survivor guilt—she remained silent though she knew her father was sexually abusing her younger sister Mary. Performed in Josephine’s fantasy refuge of American pulp-fiction genre, the narrative unfolds not chronologically, but according to her memories as they arise. The Officers of Forest are detectives, the inner voices of her conscience who trace the past, provoking Josephine at last to confront the father.
